Chip Schweiger is the founder and Managing Director of Estacado Advisors, where he advises owners and leaders of privately held businesses on performance, growth, financial complexity, and ownership transitions.

Over more than three decades, Chip has worked with businesses and the people who run them through periods of growth, change, uncertainty, and financial challenge. His experience includes senior leadership roles with major professional services firms, serving as a firm managing partner, and working directly with privately held companies as an advisor and financial executive.

That experience has given him a practical understanding of what happens as businesses become more complicated. Growth can expose weaknesses that weren’t visible before. Strong revenue doesn’t always translate into strong performance. Financial information can become increasingly sophisticated without becoming more useful. And decisions that once seemed straightforward can carry much greater consequences.

This is often where Chip’s work begins.

He works directly with owners and management teams to understand what’s really happening in the business, identify the issues that matter most, and determine what to do next. His work can range from improving profitability, cash flow, reporting, and operating discipline to strengthening the finance function, preparing a company for an ownership transition, or helping management navigate the financial demands of a transaction.
